A Month of Urns

The series began as an avenue to discreetly deliver needed medicine through decorative vessels should state laws prevent administering reproductive care. Referencing funerary urns and apothecaries, each vessel is constructed with hidden compartments and tools embedded within the form that have traditionally been used throughout the history of midwifery care. The urns activate secrecy for survival and carry knowledge from one generation to the next.
